How is your ab training going? Feeling more hip flexors and neck?
Here’s a video with my favorite tool for targeting my core. This video is pretty much just an introduction to small ball training, or many of you know as the Bender Ball. I love this tool because it works my abs in a minimal amount of time. Who wants to spend an hour doing what can be done in a quarter of that time?
Remember you won’t actually see your abs until you get rid of the insulation there. Your nutrition is so important! You can’t out train a poor diet, so keep your eating clean!
Here’s a good review of the proper position for the ball to target your TA (transverse abdominus):
Want more? What works best for you? Video? Written stuff? Audio? Let me know! Any comments are helpful so that I can help you more!
Thank Shawna, I love the bender ball but am struggling to really engage my abs, I will definitely cough the next time!
It is always good to be reminded of proper form!
Thanks for the review of the proper position for the bender ball use to target the TA (transverse abdominus) using the roll over ball position. The bender ballis favorite of mine and is great to pack in my traveling exercise bag as it is deflates and is portable for my needs.
The proper position for the bender ball or small ball is so important to avoid back strain and pain. I love the bender ball whether I’m at home or traveling, it’s a great tool.
The bender ball is great for you when you have to travel. Glad it makes the cut and is in the suitcase along with your other fitness toys.
May be this will help with your husband training with you too. That’s why I posted this because lots of you are sharing this little tool with important people in your life and I want them to benefit too.
The cough test is an easy and effective way to find those shy TA muscles!
I totally understand the challenges of losing fat around the middle. Although I’m fit, this is still my trouble area. I did a short review about The bender Ball and also have information regarding excess abdominal fat which is not only ugly, it’s dangerous to your health.
