I watched this CBC Market Place episode and thought it may be of interest to you. This is an investigation of Herbal Magic and the claims that the company makes in terms of losing weight.
I’m all about education and there are many misconceptions about weight loss out there. If weight loss was easy, wouldn’t we all be thin? Sadly, many programs may be more about their bottom line and not your health. My conclusion about many of these schemes is the only thing that will be lighter will be your wallet. You be the judge. I would love to hear your comments about this! What do you think ??

I think its all part of the huge billon dollar diet industry schemes. I agree if Herbal Magic was so easy as 1,2,3 then why arent all of us signing up. It takes dedication and hard work to train and follow a healthy lifestyle. Its a day to day commitment but soooooooo worth all the hard work!!
Hi Shawna,
I am presently on Herbal Magic and its works. Yes it is expensive, however when you get results that’s what counts for me. The staff have never pushed supplements, in fact I have never purchased anything other then the necessary ones. They are all natural ingredients, which you can get at any health store, except that you would be buying allot more bottles to get the same as you get in one bottle with H.M. This is the first weight loss program that has worked for me and I am very happy. In just over 3 months I have lost over 20 pounds and 30 inches!! I feel great, along with bootcamp I intend to reach my goal before April 1, which is 30 pounds. I eat better and have more energy than I ever have before. I know allot has to do with your bootcamp as well, which I have endorsed to Herbal Magic, and they have encouraged me with my exercise program as well.
The diet is easy to follow, you get: 2 starches, 2 proteins, 2 fruits, 3 vegetables, 1 dairy, 2 fats and 1 free exchange per day. Sounds like allot….it is!! This is for the initial weight loss until you reach your goal. Once you have reached your goal then you start to incorporate more back in your diet to maintain your healthy weight and faze out the supplements. The staff have actually encouraged me to revisit my goal since they feel that I look great now and perhaps if I am happy with the 20lbs then we could start maintenance. I have decided to loss 25lbs then start maintenance.
I was skeptical as well, but it has been a life changing experience for me, I feel great and look great. I haven’t felt like this in a long time. Exercise alone was not working for me I needed help with nutrition which I received from them. The other thing I like is that now I have a plan for life, I know what to eat and portion control.
Check out some of the comments as well, they are from people like me who have had success.
It is expensive that I won’t deny but I knew that going in the staff I deal with were up front with the costs and to date I am very satisfied.
Just wanted to share my experience and thoughts.
Thanks
Karen
Congratulations on your success Karen! It’s good that you’re learning sound eating habits that you can apply after you’re done the program. I think this is the most important aspect of any program…can you apply the same eating principles for healthy weight maintenance for life? If not, then maybe it’s not a good choice.
Keep up the positive attitude and dedication and see you at camp!
